That is the problem, Wazine is useless for anything other than roundworms and not very good for those either. Go to TSC or any farm store that sells Safeguard for Goats and give the chick 0.25 ml orally for five days and repeat for another five days in about ten days. Even if you killed the roundworms you didn't kill the eggs or any of the other worms. The eggs will hatch out within ten days and will need to be treated. If you are going to tube feed get some Kaytee Exact from the pet store and mix the meds in with the tube feeding mixture.

You can tube water too. Wazine only treats large roundworms, and it only treats them if they drink enough water. If she were mine I would give her some Safeguard for goats. Do you have a scale you can weigh her on?

Update on my peahen... she is alive and kicking with a bit of attitude about how things should work. I was able to spoon feed a gruel mixture of gamebird starter mixed with a small amount of Damimal yogurt as wellas , by pretending the spoon was a motorboat while making a sound to attract her attention. With the spoon feeding I put her on a regimen of Bird Sulfa, and a Poultry vitamin booster.


I do not have a scale at this time. I did get some safeguard for goats. I am guessing that in order to properly dose I need to weigh her?
