Need some advice please

I feed a waterfowl pellet along with lots of grazing and greens. If they're eating lots of grass they should be fine but its good to give a supplement feed especially after the grass peaks and in winter.

Thank you postal. I'll candle them and see. The lady I bought them from said the goose had not started setting yet. I'm hoping she will and they're fertile. Thanks again for the advice I'll do that. Also, what is the best way to wash the eggs, some of them are quite filthy.

If you have the room I would probably do the same (incubate as much as I could) BUT DON"T wash them!!! wipe out as much dirt as you can but filthy filthy throw out.
Good luck and keep us posted!
By the way congrats on the purchase that was a heck of a deal you got!!!!!!!!

Hey Pete this has absolutely nothing to do with the topic so hope thats ok. I was wondering how do you get those pics at the bottom of your posts, you know the ones of your animals and your house and all? Sorry I'm sure I should go to different spot for that but just thought I'd ask
Thank you

I think I did it by editing my signature and then linking to my pictures. Its been done a while but the starting point is to sort your pictures into albums and then link.

Best of luck.

I had plenty of room and most of the dirt brushed off with a dry brush pretty easily so I've got them all in the incubator now. I'm not sure all the eggs belong to my goose though as the lady I bought them from also has a pair of Sebastopol geese. I think that would be pretty need if some are from the Sebastopols. They're pretty expensive. But yeah I got a great deal. :) I will keep ya posted. :)

Thanks again Pete. They haven't taken much interest in feed but they are eating alot of grass. :)

Don't worry as they're will be plenty nutrition in Spring grass and its rich in Calcium so that will also replenish the female's reserves.

Hey everyone! Some good news. As you know I bought the pair of Toulouse and I didn't think she would lay anymore eggs due to the stress of moving and all. But two days ago I found an egg in the chicken coop. And then this morning there is a second egg beside it. :D Excited to see she's still laying. I hope she will be broody and hatch them. :) Have a great day y'all. :)

Congrats on the eggs! Good luck with her going broody! Hope you get a few goslings.
X2!!!
