Need some advice please

haha, yes that quite a large few I guess. Do any of you know if there is a market for goose meat? It seems that they would be fairly cheap to raise if you did them on pasture instead of grain. It would take longer but you'd also have a leaner meat. I'm interested in raising them and selling them I'm just hesitant because I don't know if people would buy them. anyone out there done that or no someone that has? I'd probably do Embdens as they are the most popular meat breed.

There is a market you have to find it though. I have geese for our own personal meat production. A few years ago I didn't know why people had geese. So I started reading and so last year we raised a goose for the table as well as a pair to produce more.

Thanks. How would you suggest finding the market for it? I thought about just doing a few and taking them to the farmers market and just see if they sell. If they sold I would then do more the next year. I'm just wishing I could find a market for selling them beforehand.
