Need some advice

Is it normal for my chicken’s wing to be slightly thinner than the other chicks? All of my others seem to have full wings and since I don’t know exactly when they all hatched I’m unsure if this is just developmental. I just want to be sure they are all safe and healthy! #newchickenmom

Thank you! My mom had birds before and they picked on one so much it had very thin looking feathers. I know chickens are going to be different than her birds, but it still scared me a little.

Yep looks normal. At that age they loose their baby fluff and feathers begin to come in. That looks like new feathers. Pretty soon they all will look like ragamuffins’ ya know the awkward uglies before their beautiful plumage comes in. Enjoy!
