Hi I am in need of some advice....I have an amber link about 16 nearly 17 weeks who hears the back door open and comes running and pushes past and gets inside... The amber has six isa browns to keep it company so clearly not lonely and has been free ranging... why would this cheeky bird be so interested in coming inside while the others are happy free ranging?? This only been happening for the last few weeks

Does she know that's where the food is?! One of my hens used to do that all the time, because she discovered that was where all the food was! She came in the back door which led into the kitchen, I even found her on the kitchen bench once

. Sometimes they are just really curious, and want to explore new places. Otherwise I have no idea, some chickens (like my barred wyandotte bantam) just want to be with humans all the time, she could just be missing you lol:)
Sorry I don't suppose this has really helped..

She knows the treats/ foodare somewhere past the back door ... But she doesn't explore the house, she always runs to the office and wants to porch right next to the keyboard... Thinking she is a human is def possibility cause she cuddles up when you pick her up??? Thank you I thought I was the only one who had a chicken that doesn't like outside.
