Need some friendly advice on breeding, new

following you now folly, ill definitely be in touch about those chickens in the future I'm sure we can work something out. these guys pretty much hit all my check marks would love to add a few to flock. I'm in the upper peninsula we have brutal winters

no I'm not. but i will check it out thanks. and yeah ill be having a ceramic bulb with a wireless thermometer i can program to kick on and off by temp. i have a generator for power outages and i don't plan on relying on it. i don't want to weaken my birds but extreme temps ill supplement a little. hopefully i won't need it at all but id rather have something ready to go if i need it

I have a few Chanties, and hope to have more. A few pictures...

@Folly's place Recessive White is the most effective at hiding any other genes. A recessive white bird can be based on any e-series, with any modifying genes, as everything is diluted; a bird with two copies recessive white is always pure white. Your lovely Chanteclers have recessive white.

Dominant white let's pheomelanin through, so we see the red showing, it's how we get Pyle.
