Mine are ready for lockdown today

Should I set them in an egg carton to hatch or lay them down in the incubator? Right now they are in the egg turner.

Lockdown isn't until Thursday for me. The whole on-the-side vs egg cartons is a much debated question with folks some loving or hating one or the other. It ends up being a personal preference. Which way are you leaning? I am going with the egg cartons cuz that's how they have been incubated (lots of detached air cells) and it seemed easier to clean up after.
Good luck!

Congrats everyone! I'm so excited to hear how the hatching turns out. Fingers crossed for the duck egg and the ones who are slowly pipping. I can't wait to see pictures. Thank you to everyone for the info and posts over the past week or two. I'm so excited that the 4 that showed development early on (of my 10 shipped eggs) all hatched!!! 3 of my 4little ones came a day early, and the gang's all here as of this morning with #4 popping out right on day 21 (today). Here they are:

I'm also leaning towards the egg carton due to the mess. I only have 12 eggs so I have room to space them in the egg carton. I had mine in the egg turner and today I take them out of that and I'll try the egg carton.
