Do you have the blue lace reds for Wyandottes? I had one..picture to the left..and she is the one that got me into this incubating..she went broody..I bought eggs..and so it goes..and goes, I love the little ones. Plus, I get to pick and choose what I want then sell the others. It's fun. My kids tell me that I'm still doing the motherly thing since all the kids are out but one, and he will turn 18 this year.
Maybe..still being the mother hen..almost literally!

I ordered just the blue wyandotte. I think there is a possibility of them being mixed, some blue, some splash, black or blue, gold, . They look blonde like these guys.

Update here in Fife Lake!
First of all the little one that pipped at the wrong end...that I helped (and it bled)...hatched on it's own this afternoon!! I thought it was dead and the next thing I knew....it was back working at getting out! Now I had removed some shell when I originally helped ...so that may have done the trick..Or he might have made it anyway. I have 8 totally hatched and 5 more pipping. It looks like (if those pipping hatch) I will get 13 out of 15 English Orpington mixed B/B/S chickies!! I'm over the top!!

Wowmanacat You're not alone -- I'm still waiting for several -- 2 hatched, 1 pipped, 3 nothing visible going on yet. They're under a broody hen, so it's hard for me to see if they're moving or anything.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I just looked in my incubator and saw that two of the eggs. One of them is at the small end and the other is in the middle of the eggs, I hope all will be okay.

That was exactly what happened to me! My first "pip" was yesterday at 5:30 in the morning...it was at the small pointed end! So this morning around 4am...I helped a little...started bleeding so I put a wet tissue on it and stuck it back into the bator. It hatched around 1 or 2 today and is fine! Could not believe it. So....don't despair...you still have hope. Good Luck!
