Hi, I just found this thread, I have 25 Lav Orp shipped eggs (2 diff shippers) due on the 30th, I have only done 1 very quick candling so far and I think it was too early, couldn't see much. I'll try again this weekend. I really want some of these eggs to hatch. I have a staggerd hatch going with shipped EE's and some of my mutts due a week later. Its too nerve racking to have the diff. hatch dates in the bator, so I'm ordering another 1588 to use as a hatcher. I know it won't get here before this hatch is due, so, I'm hatching this weekend in my Eco 20, I guess when that is done, Ill get it cleaned out quick and move whats left after final candling to that for hatching. I like hatching in the 1588 better, the chicks have more room to get out of the cartons and move arround after they hatch.
Temps have been great steady 99.5-100, humitiy 35-40%, so thats all looking good, just worried about the shipped eggs.
