Ok I didn't wait until day 10... I tried... really I did.

At first I thought there was 10/12 with 2 unsure, but think it is really 8/12 ... but I think I will just wait and see. There is one that is cracked that I am not sure of, and the 3 others...well don't see anything, but will wait awhile longer to be sure. I'm too new at this to go tossing out any. But it sure was exciting to see the ones that I know for sure moving about a tiny bit. That was awesome! I never got to hatch out eggs or anything like that when I was in school. Better late than never.

Somebody said not to shine the light on them too long with the flashlight, will it hurt them??

I think it depends on what kind of light bulb you have. LED lights do not get hot, but regular old lightbulbs do. Correct me everyone, if I'm wrong.....
