I am new to owning a pair of pigeons.....they have a 2 day old hatchling and another egg. Up until last night they were a happy couple and sharing all responsibilities as they should....last night tge male, quite violently, chased the female off the nest and was abusing her quite aggressively....i took him out of the cage and kept them separate for the night. I put him back in with them this morning and now tonight he is sitting on baby and egg and will not let mom back in nest....she submits and watches from a distance... can anybody give me any advice please....thank you in advance

There is nothing you can really do except let nature take its course. Seeing that only one hatched so far, the other one may be a dud??
Just like in people households, not always both parents are IDEAL parents,,,,,,,, so goes for pigeon households (lofts)
Keep an eye out if second egg hatches. Often times when second pigeon arrives 3 days after first, the first baby is already huge compared to hatch-ling. That translates to BIGGIE getting most of the food from parent. I know it does not seem FAIR in people terms, but in NATURE it assures survival of the strongest.
If that happens , I can advise you on ways to have LIL still be fed.
I can also advise you on ways to have both eggs hatch somewhat close in time. That would be in future hatching's of course.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,I see you have been a member for some time, but its your first post,,,,,, so :welcome
