Can you tell anything from these pics? We REEEEALLY want it to be a girl...we even named her Linda Sue. While she's very entertaining, we just won't be able to keep her if she turns out to be "Larry".

She (I say "she" being hopeful) is about 9-10 weeks now...the first pic, however, is from a couple of weeks ago.

Here she is enjoying a tomato with her coop mates:

Nooooo! Not a roo!!! I was so hoping we would get to keep this baby.

Thanks for all the votes, though.

Sorry honey, that's a roo. Are his coopmates the same age as him, because you can see the difference in size, for starters. I'm sure someone on here would be more than happy to take a buff polish roo on.

He (dang, I hate to call it a "he") is the same age as the others...give or take a week. The ones in the pic eating the tomato are BOs except the little dark ones are Partridge Cochin Bantams...so, of course, they would be smaller.

Very cute bird! I am not so sure I'd be that quick to call her/him. All of my polish chicks at 9 weeks are smaller than the other breeds, RIR, EE, BPR. Our silver laced has already crowed and has waddles. We do have one Buff and at this point, we are not sure of the sex.
