Hahaha I saw that one years ago.
And yeah I think I will clean the paper towl bedding tomorrow, since I should be giving him two new roomies then.
I think he should be fine hanging out on my bed for like two minutes tomorrow while I change the bedding right?
And I will feel so discouraged if Beckham turns out to be a hen.

If you don't mind poop on your bed

When beckham fluffs out check this link out you can some times tell by their wing feathers. It has been right on for me so far. Not everyone will agree with it.
But it has worked for me so far.

Hmm well Beckham seeem to look mostly like 5, and three.
Like the feather part (or hard part, that seems plastic like) doesn't look that long, but has long flowing fluffy feathers coming out of it.
So maybe closest to 3?
Hmm
And I will lay something down on my bed so that won't happen

On a female the primary feathers will be longer and secondary will be shorter while the male chick will all look 1 length

and I am about to post a new picture of Beckham up. The little paper plate bowl I made wasn't meant for this, but it is just so put I don't want to disturb the little guy.
(it was meant for helping me safely put him back into the brooder.

Isnt that just cute, does he have an under bite or is it the angle of the picture?

Oh that is the nostril area on the beak that you are thinking is the top.
So nope no underbite
smile.png

I am so proud though, he can now drink water on his own (before he was scared to go near the water dish, since earlier the dogs barked he got scared stumbled all over the brooder... and well his foot plopped into the water)

Oh I see now , I think the shinny part is what threw me off.

Aww isnt that cool aww poor baby.

Before long he will be walking in his water on purpose lol

We don't keep it quiet here for the most part cause I like them to get use to all the sounds around them
It makes it easier to transition from one place to another.

My brooder is in the living room, so the TV is on or Kids playing video games which you know they have the volume up too high ( Maybe a sign of me getting old ) lol

But he is so cute and fluffy I love that part best
