Need some help regarding Emperor Goose

Hi was wondering if some one can give me a bit info regarding emperor geese breeding habits? My female laid 6 eggs started breeding on the 6 eggs and after 3 days now she got up and there is 7 eggs. She covered the eggs and now its been 6 hours and she hasn't returned to the nest. It does not seem normal to me any ideas why? Any tips and advise would be appreciated.

Is it her first clutch?
I would consider taking the eggs for artificial incubation before its too late.

JJRS it is her first clutch but she returned after round about 8 hour and glad to say she is sitting now. But if it happens again ill will take them and put them into the incubator. The reason why i waited because i prefer the young to be parent raised but if she stays of again ill take them.
