Hello! My family and I are looking to get ten or twelve chickens and can't exactly build our own coop from scratch. The idea would be to either buy a premade one or buy some kind of other structure and turn it into a coop. We currently have an old playhouse in the backyard that can fit two chickens according to my chicken owning friend.

I'd like some advice on what to do here because you guys definitely know more than me, heh. If anyone knows a semi-alright premade coop that's below $750 then let me know.
And if anyone knows of any other structures like a shed or something else that can be modified into a chicken coop, let me know, please.

Thank you very much for your time and I hope all's well on your end!

Good, cheap and fast never go in the same sentence. For 12 chickens you will need a lot more than $750 to get started.

Put your location in your profile as that makes a big difference in answers.

There are multiple articles here on shed to coop conversions. Mine is one of them. You can go to the Articles tab then click on the Coop articles and search for shed to coop conversion and the various articles will pop up.
