need some help

hello everyone,
I live in the village of New Haven in michigan. 2 years ago i had a few chickens and ducks, then the village made me get rid of them. we live in a farming community but a much bigger city called sterling heights lets there people have chickens. how can i go about getting them to let us have them here any thing please.

Are you in a hoa? Id just call the city and make sure you know they're zoning laws and what not
