Oooh something else! CHICKEY I started tracking with Chase! I’ve been doing air scenting but decided it was time for me to try tracking. It’s going pretty good, I just haven’t been able to do much because it’s been so hot. I’ve taught his article indication and I’m using those for his rewards. How did you teach it?

I basically put a cut up shirt with scent on it or a towel, then i drip a scent about 50 ft now and i still say find it. The tracking is a bumper so i use that as reward.

I basically put a cut up shirt with scent on it or a towel, then i drip a scent about 50 ft now and i still say find it. The tracking is a bumper so i use that as reward.
I havent done much tracking with scent lately. But ive done some air tracking.b

Oh cool! I’ve been wanting to tell you because I said a while ago I was gonna do it and finally did! How long did it take you to get to the point where you are at now with him?

Since i started scent training at 10 to 15 weeks. I probably could do further than 50 ft i dont have the space though. Air tracking is a distance though.

Though we do have alkost 1/2 acre. But i like to keep it on the same side of the house

That’s cool! Maybe you could go to a park or something. Or if you really wanted to you could rent a field or something so it’s more private
