They dont seem to have a blue egg gene background to me...the beard AND pea comb gene are both dominant genes, so its highly unlikely.Beautiful roosters!I do not know what breeds they are, but I will say they do not look like Easter Eggers, which typically (though not always) have a beard and muffs.
Agreed. However, the crest is so small that I don't believe these are direct hatchery CCLB Egger crosses.I see a crest on at least one of them. Likely they have some Legbar in them (at least the middle darker one in the 4th and 5th photo). Many hatcheries are using Legbars for the blue egg gene in their EEs. Did you mean to get all boys?![]()
