Need some help

I am shopping for a incubator/egg turner, and i don't know what brand is good. i have find so many different brand and it's getting me confuse. and also should i buy a used one or new one. i don't want to spend too much money on the incubator and egg turner. Please help, i am a beginner so i need all the help i can get.

First incubator I bought was a cheapie LG still air without a turner. Worked great for my needs. Got some high% hatches with it.

Lots of folks start with the Hovabator. It is slightly--but not much--more expensive than the LG (Little Giant), and seems to get higher ratings from most folks (although many folks *do* have good luck with the LG, so I'm not dissing it). I started with the Hovabator with circulating fan and automatic egg turner. Including shipping, I believe I spent just under $140. Without the fan and egg turner, and not including shipping, I believe the Hovabator at Amazon is $60. The LG at my local Tractor Supply is about $42.

Both are basically the same concept. I think the Hovabator uses a higher quality thermostat, but I might be wrong about that.

In any event, have fun. Incubating is addictive.
