Ok, I had a chick that was so shrinked wrapped that I though it was dead, but to my suprise she was still alive. So I had to hatch her out. Well she would walk weird. Her legs would be far apart which will make her waddle. Well I hobbled her for about 2 weeks, she would walk fine with hobble, but never got better, but mworse. So I removed it. Now at 4 weeks old she is still struggling, but gets around difficultly to eat and drink, but she does it. I thought she would be dead by now, which is why I didn't try doing anything else to help, but no she's still alive. She is about 1/3 of her sibilings size, her leg comes further out now as well. What can I do to help her? Someone mentioned perosis to me, but she isn't that bad, ect. Didn't sound like that was the problem.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
