We have a 4x6 coop and a 13x25 run. How many can we keep comfortably keep in this size of set-up?

Dual-purpose hens (eggs and meat), like Rhode Islands, Australorps, Plymouth Rocks, etc., need 2.5 - 3 square feet, egg-type hens, like Leghorns, etc., need 2 square feet. On average, you could house 112 birds, but, in my experience, hens with more space are happier. I'd say that 10 - 12 hens would be great, but you can have more, if you like.

Well we don't need that many lol and we were at 14 and just making sure we had enough space for them. Didn't want to crowd the old gals.

Will the flock ever be confined to the coop, such as when it snows, for any extended periods?

If so, you have less than 2 square feet per bird and may have crowding issues.
