Need some opinions

Hi so I've found 2 high flyers for sale quite close but they are being sold for $100 each which I think is a rip off. Their is a male which looks like this hen of mine:

And a female which is white. I messaged the seller and the lowest price per bird is $80. The original pair of high flyers I got were for $45 but would have been for $50, and my second pair I got for I think $20 or $30. If I were to get the male I would most likely breed it with my female but she's infertile I think. What do you think? Should I not get these birds (as I most am probably going to do) or maybe think about it? Or should I wait to see if my newer pair of high flyers breed and my original female high flyer? Any opinions are appreciated.

Edit: They are actually a bit too far away. They are in the suburbs a few hours away, so I’m definitely not getting them.

Well I guess you answered your own question. I would have told you not to get them. You would have been unhappy over the price especially if you were to find another pair that are cheaper (since that always seems to happen to me as soon as I but something expensive). Hopefully, your high flyers do end up breeding!

Well I see your decision was made. I would tell you to let the deal go. Any time you start to question a deal that much, you're talking your wat out of iti. You seem to have a good idea of what"normal" prices are for your birds. When the price is drastically outside the norm there needs to be a justification.

Found an egg the highflyer has layed. This is her 5th egg I hope it is fertile as the last two batches weren’t, I haven’t even seen them breed since I’ve had them, I always see my other birds breeding. Why could this be?

Also does anyone know what breed these are? On the ad it says they are ‘Silver karkadi Middle East pigeons’. They look more like Egyptian swifts to me but a different coloration.

This may sound like a really stupid question, but...…. can the swift pigeon breed actually fly?

Their wings look so long and floppy I can't imagine how they can have the muscles to flap them and take off!!!

If they can fly are they really good like real swifts?

So I may be getting some pigeons today, but I'm a bit worried that they may be sick especially the ones on the perch as they are very upright. I would like some opinions on what you guys think about them. Anyways here's a photo:

And the prices are $10 each for Serbian highflyers and $5 each for the Birmingham rollers.
