Need some support from my chicken people!

I'm sorry about Telula. They may be "just chickens" to some, but they are family to us.

I feel really bad for you.

And no one here thinks you are insane. They aren't just chickens to us, they are pets! Like a dog or a cat. I'd think you'd be insane not to feel upset over a lost pet chicken. I'm new to chickens. I have 10 chicks right now and I'm only really attached to one of them because that's the only one that lets me hold it.

But I know I'd cry if I lost that chick.. or any of them really.. I'm a complete softy. When my hamster died I cried and was so sad for weeks. I'm still sad about losing him and he died last March! Losing pets is hard but this is an awesome place to get comfort from.

Anyways, I'm really really sorry for your loss. I hope you find another chicken that was as sweet as Cheekie to fill the hole in your heart. At least a little. And I also hope that goosey finds a good home. I'd get rid of it too and that's saying a lot.
