Hi,
Is there anyone in North Salt Lake Utah, who currently has chicken and is interested in joing me and a few other residents to change the Zoning law. We need to get as many supporters as we can very soon.
Thanks

I don't live in NSL, but in Riverdale. My town is ready to adjust the city code and permit up to 6 hens. I just wanted to send out some good luck vibes to you.

I live in North Salt Lake and would love to help you change the zoning laws. Just let me know what to do.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your support and willingness to help. Since my posting of this message in 2000 we were able to change the zoning law. Now, every house is allowed to have up to 15 hens. They just need to apply for a yearly permit where the city charged an annual fee of $5/hen/year. You call the city of NSL and let them know you would like to have a permit. An inspector comes and visits your coop and the back yard. Then he will approve and you will be issued a permit.
I thank all of you.
Enjoy your backyard chicken.
A.
