School days are really tough for lots of people. I was the shy kid who sat in the front row, took notes, studied hard, and sat home on Friday and Saturday nights. Living in the post-school world is certain to change you -- in ways you can't imagine.

A few years back, I returned to my hometown and was sitting around with a bunch of my sister's friends. One of them remarked that I was completely different than what she thought of me when we were in school. Fact of the matter is, she never bothered to get to know me then, and even if she had, I'm not the same person that I was back then. You won't be either.

oh and i got honorable mention for the county fair meaning right below the winners
i also bumped into my ex who i hadnt seen for 2 years after he noticed me he left not sure if it was because of me or not

And, running into an ex can be uncomfortable forever. I have been known to turn around in a grocery store to avoid my ex-husband, and we've been divorced for well over 20 years. It was a fairly amiable split, but, really, there's not much left for us to talk about.
