This will be the third coop I’ve built so I’ve learned from previous mistakes.
I am really interested in making a coop that looks like a hobbit house or maybe just a gambrel roof structure. The space I have is rounded, so I’d love to fill in the space with a design that fits the area. Plus I want it to be cute because I can see it from our living room window.
This area is primarily shaded (in the summer) because of huge trees. But open in winter.
All my other builds have been free form - just building as I go. This time I’m looking for a coop plan. Just to make it easier/quicker?
Can anyone recommend a coop plan with a dome appearance (wood not wire) or a gambrel roof? I will be getting 10 chickens.
Here’s a SUPER rough sketch of the front….just throwing around some ideas on a gray raining Vermont day.
I do know all about venting and will add vents under the first roof angle and second as well as front and back.
