Need to know breed and gender if this 8-9 week old.....

I'm very interested in this, I have 3 birds who are identical to yours. I have no idea what they are, they were supposed to be Ameraucanas, but I was supposedly shipped Olive Eggers instead, but they don't have pea combs. Mine also have clean, slate legs. The breeder they're from have blue marans, which is what I thought mine must be. But, I didn't know they were supposed to have pink/white legs...

Anyway, I say pullet. My pullet has a little smaller comb than yours, but is only about 6 weeks. My roo has a huge comb that is already flopping over and small waddles.

Well, she's a pullet, but not a Marans. Marans should only have pink/white legs. I would guess that you have a Blue Jersey Giant mix or Australorp mix on your hands.

Are the bottoms of her feet yellow or white? White would indicate a Lorp, and yellow a Giant. Perhaps someone crossed one of the two with a Marans.

edited to add: This one is really nagging at me lol. Another possibility is a Langshan, it has some really nice long legs.
Is it a hatchery marans? The crazy stuff hatcheries mix thier birds with it could easily have slate legs.

Thanks for all your input and kind remarks. I think she/he it is very pretty also ! It has slate legs with a few feathers, right down to and on the feet. Her toes( nails) are pink, if that helps anyone.. Also, she is from a private breeder who has a small flock, not a big breeder by any means. I never saw any of her other chickens though.I will try and get another pic later after my tree guys leave....

You could easily have olive eggers while these are blue copper Marans, since they often use Marans to make olive eggers.
