Can I eat my chicken eggs when using Scarlex on the chicken?
Since Scarlex is a topical germicide and fungicide, often used for minor abrasions, wounds and treatment for leg mites, I can't see where it would adversely affect the eggs. However, I don't claim to be an expert I just old.
Is it ok to use on a plucked area on her wings and behind her comb?
Quote:I've never used it but from what I've read it should be ok to use on minor cuts, abrasions. Not for punctures and serious wounds. Sounds similar to Blu-Kote. I'd say it's safe for what you want to use it for and I agree with Opa that the eggs are safe to eat as well.
