Need to know for sure what this is. Non Emergency

This literally fell out of our pet hen when my wife picked her up to put her to bed. A thin soft shelled egg plus something else. Is this a lash egg?

Are the thing on the left and on the right attached?
The thing on the left looks like a shell-less egg not a lash egg. And the thing on the right looks like nothing I have ever seen before!
To tell if something is a lash egg it is usually best to cut it open and send a picture of what the inside is like. Lash material has a characteristic sort of layered appearance (a bit like an onion).

Wife through it away. I didn't know to look inside it. It looked like a meat scrap to me. It also looked to be tethered to the soft shelled yolk.
