Do I cover my plywood with linoleum if I am using the deep litter method?
If you don't, doesn't the plywood get compromised?
With the linoleum I figured it would be a pretty easy hose down.

Thanks,
Terry

We covered ours with linoleum and we use deep litter. When we change out the litter we'll just spray out the hen house!

Use a good grade linoleum not paper backed. Try to tear it at the store and pick one that is vinyl all the way thru.
My standard paper backed style tore up the second year after getting wet.
Good luck

I have linoleum and it's GREAT. Just hose it out as said previously. I'm actually considering putting linoleum on the wall behind the roost for wayward poops as its so easy to rinse off.

Go with the linoleum.. you won't regret it. I actually asked for a piece on freecycle the size of my coop floor and was given a brand new piece. I didnt mention what it was for though ... hehehee

I think I will get linoleum from a place that supplies school.
