I have 4 black stars, about 7 months old, that I need to get rid of. My roommate has acquired a dog that terrorizes them. The dog is actually very friendly and only wants to play. But she's so much larger than the birds that they get afraid, and then the dog just wants to chase them. I had considered splitting the backyard with a fence. But, they'd still be able to see each other and I suspect the problem wouldn't go away. Plus, with all I've invested in the birds already I just can't justify the expense of a fence. I'm not asking for anything in return. I just want someone in my area to take them and give them a good home where they can forage.
