Need to speak to a moderator for another member

Hi, sorry to bother you, but I can't post or start threads to find a moderator for help. Something's wrong with BYC. Do you know how to find an online Mod? thank you very much! parker.

Hi Mods, this is coffeekittie, the person pigeonguy was helping.

The problem with the link is that I *couldn't* take the required action. I did try to flag a post, and I couldn't, probably due to the inability to type anything as there was no content box available. Same thing for trying to start a thread about this - you can't create a thread with an empty content box - it cancels itself on you. I couldn't reply to posts - same problem.

All I've been able to do is PM. There is apparently no way to find out who Moderators are, much less if any are online, or I wouldn't have bothered another member, who I didn't even know.

So, what I'd like to know now, and I'm sure others would too, is how do you find Moderators, and how do you determine which ones are online?

I searched for a couple hours trying to find this information - this isn't a "lazy" post.

Sorry you couldn't find our list of moderators. We're working on making that more visible.

Related to your question / issue, here are a few questions that will help us find, duplicate, and hopefully resolve the problem:

• How long has it been happening? If only one time, what day and time did it happen?
• Which browser and version are you using (eg., Firefox 3.5.9, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
• Have you logged out, deleted your internet cache / browser history of files, logged back in, and tried again?
• Have you tried a different browser (we suggest Firefox or Chrome)?

Put if you are online like shows in your post. I had to go threw and open each one look if online and then go to next one and do the same. On my slow computer very time consuming. Still just glad I could help.

I had to find a moderator in a hurry once and I found the list quick enough, but then I also had to go through them one by one, to see who's online. It would be nice if you can see on the list who's online.
