Need to Thin Flock by Five - 1.5 year-old hens - Salt Lake City - Free

Hello -

We have a wonderful flock of birds that free range for half of the day. They are all about 1.5 years old and excellent layers. We have recently noticed that a few of the birds are being pecked and need to thin out the flock.

The following ladies need a new home in the Salt Lake City area:

(1) Bernadette - Rhode Island Red
(2) Minerva - Blue Andalusian
(3) Trudy - Black Star Sex Link
(4) Night Hawk - Black Star Sex Link
(5) Q-Tip - White Silkie (full size)

They are all very healthy.

I am willing to let them go separately, but would love to see them all go to the same home.

If I was closer than the 1,400 miles away, I would take all 5 rescues, I would not even need a picture, to convince me.
My cats in my Avatar are feral rescues. Most of the dogs that I and family members have are rescues. And my latest addition chicken is a pullet rescue that was being bullied in her flock. She is my number one layer now,,,, giving me an egg each day. Few of the other hens are geriatric, and no longer produce eggs,,, or just occasionally.
