Need to Tube Severely Molting Hen

Good job, Michelle! You'll find that poor eyesight isn't an issue after this virgin voyage. Tubing is convenient and far less messy than trying to syringe stuff into the throat. One insertion and the tube is in place to handle everything you need to get into her.

I'm finding it much easier to tube May with her water and liquid food and meds than to do it one at a time with just a small syringe.

She's sunning herself in the garage window right now. I hope I'm not premature in mentioning she appears to be ever so slightly improving. Her lame leg is tucked under her body instead of thrust out behind as it's been now since this all began. She's able to sit upright as a result. Let's not get overly excited though. It could just be a fluke.

Glad that the tube feeding went well. I would give some vitamins that have riboflavin (B2) since she is sitting on her hocks. Just a little daily is fine. Are her toes curling under?
Her toes are not curling. I only have nutridrench, but I have this for humans:

Yes B complex is fine to use. 1/4 to 1/2 tablet daily van be crushed into food or dissolved in a spoonful of water. NutriDrench does not have riboflavin.
I would hold off until she is feeling better, and I say this because sometimes the b vitamins will cause them to vomit.
