You did exactly what we had to do ...they outgrew the brooder soooo fast!! And were flying !! So we had no choice! We made a little area for them in the coop and they thrived! Here is a picture of it.

Hi all. Thanks again for the feedback. All is well on the chicken frontier here. I just updated my web page with pictures of the cage that my chicks are in, inside the coop. It is under the "whats new" tab. Thought some might be interested as it seems many of my chicken friends were unaware of these! Hope this helps.
