Okay I am finally going to get some pictures posted of her all fluffy

She is 1 1/2 days old in these pics. The bald spot is much more noticeable now but I did see that at the top the bald spot, short fuzz is growing

Sorry the pictures aren't the best but Wilma won't allow me to go any closer

I'm really not sure of that bald spot... I was looking at it closely this morning though and i can see fluff growing in so I'm not going to worry. If it ends up staying bald, i'm fine with it

I was just worried mom (or someone else) bit it on the head. If fluff is growing back, it should be fine. Just make sure one of the other ducks isn't picking on Pebbles

She was hatched with it but as you saw in the pics it was a messy hatch.. maybe that has something to do with it? I have to have Pebbles and Wilma separated because she can get through the main fencing and my two Cayugas(now on CL because i'm no going to put up with them) are acting aggressive towards them. When Pebbles was peeping in the egg though, Wilma was nibbling on the shell and in the middle of the bald spot is what looks like maybe a bite...

Haha! I've never heard of a bald duck before and the mom and dad don't have crests.. good theory though
