Needing advice on a sick duck.

In the case of peafowl, however it is usually given in one acute dose on a regular schedule because peafowl are not easily handled or handled often. This is one point of contention that people get confused with. Different rules apply to different birds.
To the best of my knowledge, a single dose of Safeguard/Panacur (fenbendazole) will not treat capillary worms unless it's given as a massive dose (100 mg/kg - 0.45 ml per pound). Even then it might not be effective.

FYI, this 10% Safeguard/Panacur (fenbendazole) prescription was written for peafowl:

Good morning!

I am hoping someone might be able to help me help my girl.
This all started on Saturday when we noticed her not acting right out in her run. At first I thought she might be egg bound, so into the basement she went and we did some warm bum soaks. While she was in the soak she began drinking until she vomited and then did the same thing again over and over. Now Im worried about her croup being blocked... I have given her olive oil by syring and even some hair ball stuff for cats. She seemed to be doing better last night before I tucked her in but this morning she hasn't left the water alone and continues to vomit over and over again. Her chest is very extended and she just looks miserable. I am giving her electrolyte water but haven't offered much food. She wouldn't eat scrabbled eggs or cooked noodles that were offered, only her pellets. But she isn't able to keep it down. How do I unblock her???

I'm a new duck mom and she is one of my favourites. Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you!
Pictures taken while writing post. You can see her extended chest.
Can you post some pictures of her poop?

@Lazy Duck so sorry your duck is having issues... @casportpony can hopefully give advice on blockage treatment... I would wait and see what she says...
A blockage in her digestive system would be really bad news, and this is not something that most people can treat without the guidance of a veterinarian.

Unfortunately, that dosage is *not* accurate... .5cc is only enough for a 2 lb bird... link below that Miss Lydia posted has accurate Safeguard dosage in post #15...
You are correct. Most of my literature says that the dose required to treat capillary worms is 0.23 ml per pound orally for five days.

Thank you, I appreciate your help!
I have been massaging each time I give her something like the olive oil. I am not honestly sure how often I should be doing this for her but have been about 2 to 3 times a day. Maybe I need to do it more. She is being a very good patient which I know means she isn't feeling well at all.
No more oil... if you give oil and she aspirates (inhales oil), she could get lipoid pneumonia, which would probably be fatal.

I haven't given her any more then a few drops of oil today and that was this morning. I didn't want to mess with her to much until I am sure what exactly to do.

I am waiting on pins and needles for the wildlife centre to call... they lost a donkey today and are quite busy, so I am trying to be patient but I'm not very good at it.

Dewormer is on order! I should have it in a couple days.

Do you have a scale that you can weigh her on? Getting a baseline weight is very important.

Any news from wildlife center? @Lazy Duck
Can you post some pictures of her poop?

Her poop is very watery... I have pulled water in anticipation of our trip to get her checked out, as she is just throwing it up.

I recently cleaned her pen up but I did find this right behind her. I will get pictures later as she messes stuff up.
Mind the news paper... im just running out of things to absorb the flow.

Her poop looks very much like she might have a bacterial infection, worms, or maybe both. Ask the wildlife place what drugs they have.
