Needing an new rooster

Hello! After my last thread I decided to get rid of my rooster but I couldn't bring myself to kill him/let someone else do it.so I found him a home with someone who said they wouldn’t kill him(even tho he is a jerk) however I sill need a rooster for my hens.but I would like to get a breed that’s nicer/less aggressive. but still is able to keep up with breeding.any suggestions on what breed to get?

I will always recommend Buff Orpington. They are docile and sweet.
That depends on your hens though. If you have small hens, it's probably best to choose a smaller breed, as buff orps are kinda chubby.

For bantams, I suggest Belgian quail d'anvers. I had two boys, (sold one and still have one) that are just sweet hearts , for standards try maybe a Pheonix? Ornamental and mine is a complete gentleman

Salmon Favorelles tend to be very nice birds. Avoid some breeds, where the roosters might be more likely to be 'naughty', like RIRs for example.

Yeah. From my experience, avoid Dominique and mille Fleur males. Wosrt males i ever had
