Chirping
I was wanting to know if anyone possibly knows the breed of this rooster, and if he is an aggressive type. He seems to be really aggressive towards my hens.

Yes thank you for the information. It like my hens want nothing to do with him they run away every time he comes near or they roost up high. My girls haven't started laying yet I don't want it to stress them out. He is almost 5 months old as well my hens are almost 5 months oldMy guess is he is a barnyard mix, likely a Red Sexlink type bred back to a male of the Red Sexlink type, which means both sexes look like that.
No particular reason he'd be aggressive, but that's not a breed specific thing necessarily. My personal opinion is they are either hatched jerks or hatched pleasant. There is little to do to "train" them other than direct a "midlin" type better.
If he is just coming of age, meaning a teen with raging hormones, he will be more aggressive with the hens. If he doesn't settle down, then he should go to the soup pot. I find hormonal teens are worse with sibling age sisters but get fully hazed by the matrons, and if their nature is generally good, they settle with the hazing. However, their teen sisters don't know to put them in their place, and the behavior can linger but eventually settle...as long as they are basically good tempered and not overly harsh with the hens...no blood drawn, body slamming, constantly harassing.
If he is aggressive with you or family members, charging, flogging, harrassing, put him in the soup pot. A good tempered hormonal male *might* charge half heartedly once, and a good boot will quell their machoism. Mine tried once and got booted and never tried it again (he ran away screaming like a little girl). But he was gentle and well behaved otherwise.
So watch. If this is really aggressive (see above), then cull as in kill. Don't make him someone else's headache.
My 2 cents.
