x3 Amen praying for you and your family Boyd hopefully things will work out and I think God understands that we get angry and he forgives it just as we forgive our children when they say "I hate you" its the same
just found this thread, reading along and everything was going so good and then boom -- the facebook quote, sent me in a tail spin. How sorry I am to hear about this.
Boyd dear, I am praying for you and your daughter. God will be there for you and her, I trust in him.
talked to ash today. She called me back on her break at work. Sounds like the tumor they found in her lung is larger than what the primary one was. They are already talking bone marrow transplant to her. Her "official" MRI results should be in tommorow. Biopsy is scheduled for next week, and her entire file is going to be transferred to the Henry Ford hospital down near detroit.
ANY OF YOU that feels you may be fit for bone marrow donation, PLEASE get on the registry. THe test is painless and easy and takes maybe 5 minutes, 99% of which is answering questions. THe rest is a 3 second cheek swab.
THe actual donation is a in depth procedure. BUT you will probably save LIFE.

That is a very worthwhile soapbox. Now I have a question. I cannot donate blood because I have had hepatitis A and B. Would the same apply to bone marrow donation? Because I have no idea.
I don't think I can donate now b/c I'm pregnant, but if I could be of help in the future let me know...not sure what the time line on a donation would be. Do you know what blood type she is? That would at least help narrow it down for some people.
