Our beloved Lincoln crows too much for our neighborhood...anyone out there need a confident crowing roo??

Also any thoughts on his breed.

Thanks everyone

Does he just crow early a.m. while he's still inside? In which case is it possible to insulate coop?

You might tell folks what state you're in the hopes that you find someone somewhat "local" so he doesn't have to endure the risks of shipping.

I'm in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.

He starts early and crows throughout the day

sorry for the large, pics.

He has a lot to say!

(I love crowing - people will let dogs bark all the
live long day but then get irritated when a roo crows, a far more melodious sound if you ask me! A dog barking incessantly is not a happy dog and so the sound isn't either - it's just grating.)

I agree with the dog thing. People who don't like roosters crowing just want something to complain about. That's how I see it anyway. It has the green sheen of an Australorp, but the comb is wrong. I can't take anymore roos, I'm sorry.

You might try posting him on Craigslist.com and Petfinder.com I'm sure you'll be able to find him a good home.

I agree he looks like a sumatra rooster to me too. Good luck in finding him a home. He's a very handsome boy.
