Welcome to BYC! It's ok. I do lots of mixed species hatches.
Last year I did ducks, quail, turkeys, geese, and chickens all together! I had a 90% hatch rate!!! View attachment 2570711
They'll be fine. Just unplug the turner. Once the quail start externally pipping, up the humidity until they hatch. Then remove them and lower the humidity back down, and plug The turner back in. The chickens will be totally fine.

It sounds like those two eggs were just rotten. That happens, it's ok.Up date on my quail chicken eggs. In same incubator. Well I lost two of my chick eggs. I woke up and saw one of these eggs oozing and I didn't know what it meant so I looked it up and it said it was a dead egg and I should take it out as soon as possible because it can explode in the incubator so I ran and took it out and I ended up throwing it out baby died then the next day I looked in the afternoon and I see another egg with the little bump oozing a little bit that's my next chick that died. Quail eggs still not moving. The quail eggs are due to hatch on the 21st and the chick eggs are due to hatch on the 27th I haven't moved any of the eggs and have locked down halfway. And I haven't opened the incubator just to get those two eggs out didn't want any explosions. I'm so nervous I don't think I'm doing this right help me

Everything sounds fine to me. What are you concerned about?
When I took them out The eggs were developing and it looked like the chicks died inside when I candled them I guess I'm just nervous and I just needed a pep talk I'm just afraid not moving the chick eggs because I have to lock down the quail or causing them to die. When should I start seeing some movement in the quail eggs I know I'm being a painIt sounds like those two eggs were just rotten. That happens, it's ok.

At this point it's up to nature. Relax you're doing it right and time will tell. As far as seeing movement, you'll only see it if they are moving when you candle. I've gone the full incubation period without seeing movement but they still hatched. When I took them out The eggs were developing and it looked like the chicks died inside when I candled them I guess I'm just nervous and I just needed a pep talk I'm just afraid not moving the chick eggs because I have to lock down the quail or causing them to die. You probably won't see them wiggling or anything like that. You haven't done anything wrong. Just sit on your hands, and wait. When I took them out The eggs were developing and it looked like the chicks died inside when I candled them I guess I'm just nervous and I just needed a pep talk I'm just afraid not moving the chick eggs because I have to lock down the quail or causing them to die.
