Neighbor filed a warrant against me after she saw me with a camera yesterday!

Maybe he wants a new fence since he is again trying to sell his property. Willfully destroying it so I have to pay half? Interesting.
I would have the lawyer include the fencing being damaged by the neighbors along with the desist letter and IF you put up recording cams, a reference to that will probable halt most of this. It's hard to argue you were't tormenting your neighbors when you have that kind of evidence for a policeman and judge.

The mentally ill who abuse substances are out of anyone's league to reason with. The naive will willingly engage such folk once.

The hard lesson learned is to let the authorities and legal professionals handle it and never ever engage in a tit for tat situation. What could possibly be accomplished? You will lose and the price could be big. Continuing to engage prolonges the drama and and increases the odds of damages and harm.

Be careful outing people on the net, as you did with these folk with her name and their address. You and your location are exposed now for additional weirdo action. It happens.

Virginia, right? Have you tried giving these folks a call?

Actually, that is who came out today. The guy at EPA showed my information to this investigator from VDACS. He would not let me reach down at fence level to retrieve any with my gloved hand. They would have to clearly be on my side to do this. He did take more photos and I have about 13 good ones that will be Exhibit 2 in the complaint. A lot of them have vaporized, but the smell still lingers. She refreshed them Wednesday and you could still see the little middle ring on the mothballs. We're having light rain now so this pesticide will be seeping into the ground again. I want them removed now, but it looks like that will not be happening yet; if at all. I guess they could say they are golf balls and unless we can get a sample that will be it. I just noticed he did not check the box "For the purpose of determining compliance with FIFRA Sec 9(A) and 40 CFR PART 169 (Sec. 8 and 12 (a) (2) (B). I will be calling him first thing Monday morning about this. They are clearly in noncompliance with FIFRA and I want that addressed. Maybe that will be done later.

I have an idea for the missing fence posts. Since I'd be wary of putting any boards up on your side, you could get some cheap full length mirrors (haven't priced them, so I don't have actual numbers here) and prop them up on your side of the fence directly in front of the missing board areas so when they go to spy on you they get to see their own reflection. Wouldn't it be lovely if this showed them just how ridiculous they're being? But I'm sure they aren't that enlightened.

What a great idea! Unfortunately, they just wouldn't get it. I do have some mirror paint leftover from a wedding and may make something reflective with that. I have a few ceramic roosters I could place near the openings on a pedestal or a wooden stump. I think they'd look good in the landscape.
