Neighborhood Rooster Loose

We started our backyard flock of RR's about 10 wks ago. We knew there was a rooster loose in the neighborhood. This week the one in our flock we suspected was a rooster crowed for the first time. This morning when we came out side the rooster that had been loose in the neighborhood was pacing around the coop and the chickens wouldn't come out, not even our rooster. We had our dog chase it away. My question is will the neighborhood rooster hurt our chickens or our rooster?

Given the opportunity he may fight your rooster in an attempt to take over the flock. He will try to make the pullets his flock.

He will attack.You need to catch and/or kill the rooster...unless you want him to take over the flock.
