Neighbors Chickens vs. mine

My neighbor's chickens free range all over my property. I LOVE THEM! They have inspired me to get a coop (the run is being started today) and I have no objection to them hanging around after I get my own chickens. They are healthy as far as I can tell. HOWEVER. . . . I want to raise my own itty bitty babies. I know I will have to start them indoors and then keep them in the run for a while when they are older before I free range them. My question is- will seeing my young ones through the run fencing be enough for my neighbor's chickens to get used to having them around, or will I face major problems if they all free range together? Can I do this? I have really come to be attached to the neighbors chickens- one even sits on my lap for treats.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I believe that will work for you. But remember there may still be some pecking order to deal with even with the chickens not being yours.
Hopefully the chickens know which coop to sleep in at night
