Yeah and I've seen toddlers who "can't" go to sleep until after they've had a hershey's bar and three hours of cartoons.

Just start calling the cops to file a noise complaint... eventually they'll make him ride earlier (depends on your cities noise hours) and hopefully in the daylight so 'mishaps' are less likely.

Might think about an invisible fence and collars for your doggies too... since you know that yard is an accident waiting to happen it really falls on you to protect your babies from it.

Yes, protect your dogs first. If you let your dogs trespass, you have no leg to stand on. I'm not being mean, but that IS the law. Dogs, no matter what size, should not run loose, for their own safety. We spent a small fortune to keep our dogs safe and on our property! Why? Because we love them.

As far as the kid? If there is an ordinance for noise, danger concerning him riding, call repeatedly to get it enforced. Also, he is likely trespassing on the vacant lot area. See if you can enlist some help from those owners.

Best of luck, and keep those dinky dogs home!

loose dogs running around on my property are not hit by a baseball. Loose dogs running around on my property are not run over by a quad. Loose dogs running around on my property are shot with either a .38 or a .45 repeatedly until they quit running around.

I no longer have loose dogs running around my property.

My advice would be to keep your dogs on your property...if the kid comes INTO your yard and runs over your dog... then you have a leg to stand on.
Its kinda foolish to blame someone for running over your dog in the middle of the night on THEIR property...
Just saying...
Poor little thing,....

Meh I dunno, maybe people actually like their doggies and would be pretty darn ticked off if someone shot it. Maybe it's a weird rural Eastern US thing.

Call the cops on the noise. They will make a visit. I dont care who you are, if you cant sleep that doesn't mean you get to ride your four wheeler after 10pm. TBH i dont believe its what his therapist said, i mean who in the right mind would tell a kid to go riding in the middle of the night so you get tired and fall asleep, and if this person did WHY are they still going there. He must not be a sane person to be prescribing this. The first time you do the cops will be out there and after a few times the family will start getting find, and i bet that will put an end to it. So what his father is a nice guy, they need to find a better outlet to tire out there kid. Sorry out your dogs. Maybe put up a chicken wire fence around your yard ya.

Not at all. If I am really in a mood it's a 12 gauge.

Loose dogs = Bad news. Loose dogs can cause livestock losses even if they are just running the edges of fences. Many animals will panic and hurt themselves up to and including bashing their own heads/necks in to escape.

I really wasn't joking.

My dogs are all on training collars. Even my 4 year old can safely walk an 85lb dog without fear of getting dragged around. If not leashed, my dogs are staked out with 3/8" coated steel line. If they get loose, well, they deserve whatever is dished out to them and I deal with the consequences and any losses/damages they cause (hasn't happened) but...

And I am an owner of a guard dog. Not a "guardian dog" but one who will tear your arm off if you try to hurt one of his "kids" or get in the house without permission. I have no sympathy for a dog who doesn't know his place in the world.. where he can and cannot go.
