One of my neighbors goes on and on about how she used to raise chickens and she loves them! Well, I think she was buttering me up for eggs, BUT she has never complained about escaping chickens coming in her yard or roosters crowing, or anything like that. Rather suddenly after I got chickens she figure out how to keep her dog in!! (a miracle!) So I guess as neighbors go I don't have too many complaints.
The other side was a rental that is now being sold. The last tenant just curiously asked me why I moved the chicken tractor every day. He has been kicked out, and work is being done on the house for the new people, so I guess we shall see if the new owners like roosters or not. hehehe
The people behind our house, and directly across the street never talk to us . . . so I guess it's all good.
