NEON GREEN EGG WHITE (Albumen)

This morning I cracked an eggs into the skillet and one flew out with a Neon green, almost Fluorescent (Albumen/glaires) -you know? the white part!

I looked it up and found your thread, but it doesn't seem to have been resolved here. It was in an Organic, Free Roaming: Large Grade A Brown Egg Crate. I DID Throw it out, it did not have an odor, it just seemed Wrong in every way. :/ What gives?

Green albumen is indicative of bacterial contamination. Here's a citation from an army publication on public health threats from shell eggs:
