nervous, full brinsea eco

I filled the brinsea eco to the max capacity about 17 days ago. They are supposed to hatch friday. I have heard that the eco gets VERY crowded while hatching. I am sooo nervous it will get too crowded and the chicks will step and kill each other. My hova bator, supposed to be the hatcher, was filled with rir eggs for a friend so now it cant be used as a hatcher like a planned!

What do I do?? What was your experience hatching 24 eggs in the brinsea??

Get your self a cooler and build a hatcher.

So I have to laugh for just a minute as I just as this very same question only a week ago. You will be fine.... I had a bator full of 24 eggs and all did fine, both LF and bantams. I let everyone hatch and dry before opening it too. That was enforced by other BYC'ers, DO NOT OPEN. I have already reset it with 25 this time and am ready to see that bator full again with beautiful babies in another couple of weeks so - Relaxe, take a deep breath and enjoy your hatch.
