Nervous newbie with a few questions

I know...it's difficult to not want to pick them up and love them.

There going to arrive a bit sell shocked from the trip...plus just pipping out of there cozy shell...

Before you know it they will be running, hopping and playing with each other.

Of course...they are your chicks...

Just in case this wasn't mentioned already putting marbles or small stones in their waterer so the chicks won't be drowned! That would be an awful thing to come home to. I use marbles and they work just great! Good luck and have fun with your new babies now! Sounds like you have got all that you'll need to have some healthy happy chicks!!

Sounds like you're ready! You'll be fine...make sure they all drink when they first arrive. I always dip each babies beak in the water. When doing this some drink more than others. They'll all start pecking at the feed and before you know it they be "scratching" in it. You'll find yourself staring at them a lot! Enjoy...keep us posted.

Pick up some baby wipes for their butts...I wiped their butts every night before bed for the first 2 weeks. This trick is from the 4-H leader I got them from....
